Before I fly to Nepal! Checklist!
Passport and Visas
All Travelers need a Valid Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity.
Tourist Visa can be obtained at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu on arrival. However, sometimes (especially during peak season) there is a queue to fill up the visa application form at TIA. The visa application can be summitted online which will help you avoid the long queue at the airport. The application should be made at most 2 weeks prior to your arrival date as the data is automatically deleted after two weeks. (e.g., If you are arriving in Nepal on 14th October the application should be made after October 1st)

Visa for Nepal can also be obtained at the diplomatic consulates or missions abroad.
Travel Insurance
For our clients, it is mandatory to have Travel Insurance. Please make sure that your Travel Insurance Covers medical expenses as well as emergency Evacuations and also ensure that it covers the level of your activities (trekking, climbing elevation etc.). Please keep in mind that additional and unexpected expenses may also occur due flight cancellations in Nepal (especially in the mountains).
Your International Flights
At times your flight schedule may change. Please notify us if there are any changes so that we can arrange airport transfers accordingly.
Necessary Equipment
Please make sure that you have all necessary equipment for the trip. Please check our ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT LIST for reference. Please feel free to ask us if there are any doubts or confusions.
Bag Packing/Luggage:
Apart from the Visa queue, another cause for delay in getting out of Tribhuvan International Airport is baggage claim. Less the number of bags easier and quicker it will be to claim. So we recommend you to minimize the number of bags. We provide waterproof duffel bag to all our clients to repack for the trek/climb at the time of trip briefing.
Arrival Instruction at TIA
Airport transfers are included and our representative (In most cases your Group Leader) will come to receive you at the airport and will escort you to the hotel.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s Airport, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), kindly proceed to the immigration to apply for VOA (Visa on Arrival), custom clearing and then collect your luggage. Please look out for a placard of “HIMALAYAN DYNASTY” at the exit of arrival hall. You will be escorted to the hotel for checking in. Kindly notify us if there has been any change in the flight timing.
